If you think that's good, wait till you try the Reese's peanut butter cup burger! I just had the place make me one yesterday and let me tell you, it was outrageous.
Poor food and service.
We were in Langdon a couple of years ago and it was an unpleasant experience, so after that time we decided to give them a second chance and that time the result was perfect and satisfactory. All the dishes we ordered had a very good presentation, but they tasted even better. Good service in a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended place to enjoy Quality Food with an excellent and different way to cook it.We have been back some more times with similar results. THANKS
Just 1 word to describe the experience. Outstanding!
slow service and ordered soup but no soup spoons food was good
BEST FOOD EVER. Oh my gosh I can not type out the experience. We come from a small town hours away and Frankly are not used to the upscale experience of nicer restaurants such as this. It can be very intimidating to go into a place like this without previous experience, however, the staff managed to be VERY inviting and had no issue answering any of our questions. The menu was lovely and had some very unique dishes that I believe can only be found here. It is a bit pricey but for the portion you get and the AMAZING flavors it is VERY worth it and we will be going back for sure!!
Friends took us here for a wonderful evening. I had the oysters, tuna and some of the apple crisp. Everything including the service made for great evening.
This is one of my go to restaurants if I am looking for a great meal. Went again this past Saturday and everything was cooked as requested and service was great.
Excellent food and wine. Worth the price. Only minus was ambient noise; restaurant was crowded at the time. Reservations recommended.
Best place for solid food and great staff that knows their wines and pairing.
I have been a customer of Patrick s resturant s for years the food is first class, but the bartender Shay is the rudest person ever never again and I am not alone good luck
An excellent dining experience. All of the staff were terrific. Our waitress, Cheriss, was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the wine was superb.
We went here for my sister's birthday. The ambience was lovely. Our waiter Elliot took great care of us and even gave us glasses of champagne to toast her. The food was fabulous.
Absolutely phenomenal!! My new favorite for Charleston.
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Great service and excellent food!
Service and food was awesome!!
Excellent service and food quality. Highly recommend.
Can't go wrong for lunch or dinner. Also check out his pizza and oyster spot one door down
This is where locals go.....the owner/chef, Patrick, grew up here in MT. Pleasant....and wow...you will be amazed. Langdon's has the best steak and local fish in town. The wine is the best. If you are lucky...catch them during the one or two weeks of local soft shell crabs. Yes...it is on the higher end...but trust you will seldom have better. The restaurant next door is also owned by Patrick ...Wood and Grain. The best raw oysters and pizza in Charleston. My favorite is the Ceviche....a little spice...ask for extra chips and a cold beer.
Love this place food and service to notch!! Always stop in when I'm in south Carolina!!
Went for a quick bite to eat, so we sat at the bar. The food was great, the atmosphere was awesome. My mom ordered a bowl of the soup special, I ordered the "lunch on the fly" special. The only thing is that they had run out of their soup, which I got my bowl of but then almost 30 min passed and then we were told that there was more soup left for the main entree order. They had a replacement soup being made but we had been there for almost 45 minutes at that point and just ordered the salad as a replacement because my mom was starving. Overall it was great, but the experience left a bad impression.
Had a good meal. Ordered the cheeseburger and fries. Was a little over done (both). Hope to come back again as my friend highly recommended the salmon. I also wanted to try the dessert.
I've visited this location twice and I have been blown away each time. The atmosphere, the presentation of the food, the customer service!! It is such a dream to visit and I encourage anyone to take their partner to experience this wonderful restaurant. Would give 10 stars if I could.
This place is spacial because it offers quality equal to, if not better than, Halls while still being quiet and spacious. The staff is great and mild. The atmosphere is perfect for any celebration where you may want a little privacy. The food is consistently perfect too.
Food was pretty good, pricey but quality. The filet was lovely, but the lamb chops missed the mark, the horseradish was too strong and the chops themselves were smaller than I was expecting for $50. Bartender Chey (hope I spelled his name right) makes amazing martinis and earned the majority of the stars I gave this place along with the chocolate cake dessert I had. Nice ambience. Would return.
I' m visiting from KY with my son and his family. My son and daughter in lawtook me to Langdon's to celebrate my birthday. The meal was delicious. Our server was wonderful. Her recommendation's were excellent. A very special meal for a special occasion. My son and daughter in law said they were going to celebrate their next anniversary at Langdon's. We all loved it.
Regularly, we enjoy the fine dining and awesome service offered at Langdon's. Our favorites, steak tartare - shrimp & grits. Before ordering, make sure you listen to the daily specials - most worthy on many a night.
Location is a little underwhelming but the food absolutely delivers
The food is fantastic! I had the grouper special, probably the best I have ever had and I order grouper a lot.
Great service and excellent food. High end atmosphere with a large wine selection
Great food and atmosphere.
Langdon's was perfect, we were celebrating our 19th year Anniversary, the food was delicious, our Stakes were pepaired just right, and so was everything else. Also the Servers were just Fantastic. We will most deffinatly come again. I would give 10 stars in allowed.
Food and service was excellent.
I had a great business lunch at Langdon's last week by far the best restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Reservations are needed even for lunch. The salmon is delicious. The Hawaiian tuna is a delight. Cocktails are amazing. Great wine list. Basket of bread is always a plus. Owner chef Patrick Owens had created a masterpiece lunch experience for our neighborhood. 5 stars to food service and ambiance. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend Langdon's for lunch dinner business or pleasure.
Excellent service with delightful dishes in a cozy atmosphere.
Fantastic food as always
BEST and I mean BEST food I've ever had. To start the service was amazing. Despite not being fimilar with an upscale restaurant the staff were very welcoming and informative. The food was AMAZING. I was IN LOVE with the contrasts in flavors and unique pairings! The wine options were great and even though I have not acquired much of a taste in wines the staff was informing and found one I actually liked and paired well with my main course. Awesome service. The portions were very filling and the price was VERY fair for the service you get along with the atmosphere and high quality food! My fiance said it was the best steak hes ever had, and my pork chop was BY far the best I've ever had. 100% will be going back.
Best restaurant in mt pleasant, in Charleston, hand down! Not a tourist trap, just excellent food w superb service, every time! We were recommended by our local friends, and now we hooked! The steak, the pork chop, the fish, on point each time!
Great menu offering and service
Food was wonderful, service was great and atmosphere very nice! Dana T.
My husband and I ordered take away last night, May 3rd, for our anniversary, and couldn’t have been happier! I ordered the Steak Tartare and the featured fish (wreckfish, which I love) and he ordered the Ribeye. Israel, who took my order over the phone, was very polite, informative, and accommodating as he allowed me to substitute the risotto for the brocollini. I especially hated to ask as it is Covid-19 takeout but he didn’t bat an eyelash before saying “of course!”. Our food, delivered by our son, was as close to being served at the table as possible. To top it all off, my son mentioned that it our anniversary to which he said hold on one sec, and added a beautiful, silky, perfectly crusted crème brûlée to our bag! What a treat! I’m not one to post a great review just because I received an item for free, but this meal was just outstanding! Thank you Langdon’s for making our Covid-versary as good as it could be!
My 70th birthday lunch. Everything was over the top. Been going there for 15 years. Never disappointed.
The fillet was superb! Appetizers were delicious and the creme brulee was spot on. The service was excellent. Odd location, but the food certainly made up for it.
Best Oysters Rockefeller in town in my opinion, followed by Oak Steakhouse with close second. Best bread I've had in many many years, made by Normandy Farms apparently. Lamb chops were to die for, as well as soup special which was a coconut tomato bisque. Yum! Pretty pricey though, and white table cloths with close quarter seating.
The filet mignon was excellent and nice portions of two sides that went with the dinner. Our waiter was excellent. I definitely recommend dining there.
The appetizers and salad were great. The fish was great. The ribeye was average at best. Once we got our appetizers we never saw our waiter again until he brought the bill. One of our entrees only had 2 green beans total on it...we would have mentioned it to the waiter if he ever checked back with us. The place was busy so that might have been the reason for the lapse in service.
Subtle elegance in a strip mall . The Chardoney and the raw tuna slices in Hawaiian dressing was an excellent combination. Service was attentive, but the background noise was on the high side.
A hidden gem! Definitely make a reservation as they go quickly. They don't have a dedicated gluten free menu or kids menu, but are very knowledgeable and accommodating. The seafood was great, as were their desserts. This would be a really nice place to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion.
The food was delicious. Had the oysters Rockefeller. They are some of the best I've had, so I got them as a entree as well. Benjamin our server is why I didn't give 5 stars. Shouldn't be a server, the bus boy should have. He was great.
The best restaurant in Charleston, beyond a doubt.
Langdon's has been a favorite of my husband and I for 10 years now. The food is always exceptional no matter what is on the menu. I cannot stress that enough. The staff are always extremely friendly and greet you with a smile. This is a fantastic restaurant for any special occasion. We go here at least once every 3 months. They have a great lunch menu as well as a wonderful dinner menu. I do highly suggest making a reservation for dinner as they are always busy. The Ambiance of the restaurant is very Charleston with beautiful artwork hanging on the walls. There's a calm environment that is not too loud and the seating is very comfortable. I highly recommend this location for locals and people visiting from out of town.
